The challenge

240 million children with disabilities live in low- and middle-income countries, about 85%  worldwide. Stigma and discrimination often block access to education, healthcare and social life. Gender, ethnicity, conflict or crisis can make these barriers worse.

What we do

We work to create inclusive societies where children and youth with disabilities enjoy equal rights and opportunities. Change works best when communities lead, which is why we partner with local organisations, networks and disability rights groups.
