Youngsters working in a bakeryMost of the livelihood interventions are linked with individual support for youngsters in pursuing skills development training as a preparation for acquiring meaningful and decent work, and giving them better opportunities for wage employment.

The Liliane Foundation does not provide loans or credit, but supports local partners in facilitating access to microcredit and microfinance services to youngsters with disabilities, and development of saving groups.

Local and national governments, non-governmental enterprises and companies need to become more open, and improve their attitudes towards youngsters with disabilities, by seeing them as having comparable capabilities to non-disabled people.
