Basic infrastructural facilities

The capacity development of basic facilities focuses on the actual construction and on provision of equipment and transport.

(Re)construction
Activities of construction and/or reconstruction of rehabilitation facilities, classrooms, and other relevant facilities and institutions.

Equipment and devices
Provision of equipment and devices that suit the needs of children with disabilities. These include prostheses, braces, study books in Braille, hearing aids, wheelchairs, tricycles and other rehabilitation equipment.

Transport
Provision of means of transport such as motorcycles and cars. Vehicles are only provided in case of extensive field work programmes.
