The Liliane Foundation operates with two types of intervention strategies:

Direct Child Assistance
Capacity Development

The Direct Child Assistance is the core intervention stategy. The Liliane Foundation spends 75% of the total budget on its implementation. The Capacity Development is a supporting intervention stategy that complements the Direct Child Assistance. The Liliane Foundation spends 25% of the total budget on its implementation.

These intervention strategies are programme and objective based and they are interlinked. The intervention strategies are implemented by various stakeholders that have specific responsibilities. Together they constitute an intervention chain.
